As a private English school established in the University area since 1994, The Kent Institute offers lessons to students of all ages from Pre-A1 to C2 level. The school was founded by Mike Camarasa and Catherine Legendre, the current principals, both qualified teachers in TEFL with nearly thirty years of teaching experience in Spain and abroad.
 
Throughout these years, The Kent Institute has established a reputation as a top quality school in Valencia which provides high teaching standards along with a friendly working atmosphere in the classroom and among staff. We teach English to over 400 students, with the vast majority of them staying in the school for many years. Our lessons are aimed to improve the four basic language skills but with a strong emphasis on communication. As a Premium Cambridge Exams preparation centre, we follow standards set by Cambridge Assessment English, with a high rate of successful candidates.

In the past few years, acknowledging the importance of new technology in the 21st century teaching, we have equipped our classrooms with Interactive White Boards. This was of great help when we had to meet the challenge of moving face to face lessons to the online environment during the pandemic. We now have spread the use of digital resources in and outside the classroom maximising students´ progress.
